I completely agree with you,Saurabh Sir.But unfortunately, owning to my family circumstances,I could not study Gujarati as my mother language.I passed out from Kendriya Vidya lay where Hindi was medium of instruction.But I can vary well read,write and understand Gujarati .In fact I tried to write a story of 5 episodes in Gujarati,for Mid-Day,Gujarati Newspaper.Both my son’s studied in vernacular school. Both are on a very high posts in their field . But whenever we communicate with one another,always do it in Gujarati.My daughter in law who is from Tasmania,also is learning Gujarati .so we all are very proud of our mother language and Gujarat as well,state which we belong too..My grand kids are learning Gujarati and Sanskrit .,though they study in English School.we tried our level best,as teachers to motivate children to study in Gujarati Medium .But their parents argued that they are suffering for not knowing English.So we don’twant our kids to suffer like we do.with this attitude our Gujarati Medium school shut down.we regret for our failure.But can’thelp because it has become our mindset,that if you dont know English,you don’tsucceed in life .Sorry Sir ,for writing so much .But only if its acceptable please read.Thank you Sir..
ગુજરાતી ફક્ત ભાષા નથી, આપણી માતૃભાષા ઉપરાંત આપણી જીવનશૈલી છે, માતૃભાષા બચાવો ના વેવલાવેડા છોડી દરેક વ્યક્તિ એ માતૃભાષા માટે પોતાના અઠળક પ્રયત્નો કરવા જોઇએ. આપના દસ મુદ્દા ખરેખર અમલીકરણ ને લાયક છે. આજની ‘ શુભ સવાર ‘ ખરેખર શુભ થઈ ગઈ.

આપે લખેલો એકેએક મુદ્દો સાચો છે. એક શિક્ષક તરીકે આપનો point of view સમજીને હું આપની વાત સાથે સહમત છું. રીતે ભાષા સાચી અને શિસ્તબદ્ધ રીતે શીખીને સાચી રીતે શીખવનારા શિક્ષકો બહુ જ ઓછા છે. (આમ તો દરેક વિષય માટે) શિક્ષકોના નામે માત્ર કામદારો જ છે જેણે ગુજરાતી ભણાવવાના નામે જે કંઈ છેલ્લા બે-ત્રણ દશકોમાં કર્યું છે એણે ગુજરાતીની હાલત ગણિત જેવી જ કરી દીધી છે, મોટા ભાગના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ દૂર ભાગે છે આ માટે અધકચરું ભણેલા શિક્ષક-કામદારોની છેલ્લી બે પેઢી સૌથી વધુ જવાબદાર છે…
આજે,
ચંદ્રકાન્ત બક્ષી ની યાદ અપાવી દીધી…

દર રવિવારે સવારે ariawise ગુજરાતી ભાષા શીખવવા ના વર્ગો લેવા માં આવે તો ચોક્કસપણે કામ થઈ શકે.
